Ray's Great Balloon Race
Registration is not Required
Everyone at Weatherby Lake and their friends are invited to participate in Ray's Great Balloon Race starting at dusk.
If you would like to help setup please arrive at 7:00 pm, otherwise arrive at 8:00 pm.
Schedule
- 7:00 pm - Blow up balloons and setup. Any help is greatly appreciated.
- 8:00 pm - Registration and rules review. Each boat of any type that participates must register and get a balloon color assigned to their boat.
- 8:30 pm - 150 balloons of various colors will be distributed on the lake.
- Dusk - The race starts at approximately 8:45 pm.
Rules
- We will distribute 3 red balls in addition to the regular balloons on the lake. Each red ball represents 5 balloons of any color.

We will also distribute 15 black balloons. Each black balloon represents any color you want them to be.

A horn will be blow at dusk and everyone has 45 minutes to collect all the inflated balloons they can find plus the red balls.

You can trade the balloons that are not your assigned color to other boats so do NOT pop them.

A horn will be blown at the end of the 45 minutes and all boats must gather at C-Point for the balloon counting and the distribution of the prizes.

After the prizes have been distributed, the kids will pop the balloons and throw the remains in the garbage so that C-Point is not cluttered.
